Hi,
ReplyDeleteI don't want to be a downer, but I also don't want anyone to get ripped off or mislead. The brooch featured here is NOT vintage it came free on a Target sweater. I have the same one pinned to my winter coat. It is still a cute piece, so it does not matter so much. Just wanted to put that out there.
whether or not the brooch is really vintage or not - its already sold! boo!
ReplyDeletehmm. I will replace it. new item coming right up!
ReplyDeleteoh dear! i am the seller of that brooch. i purchased it from a thrift store "collectible and vintage" jewelry case. i usually always check for markings on the back of the brooch, but if a vintage brooch isn't a certain brand (trifari, for example) it can be hard to tell if it happens to be a good vintage re-make. i am so sorry!!! thanks for noting it, though. and to the blog author, many thanks for including one of my items in your beautiful blog.
ReplyDeleteps: how i wish i knew about this blog when i got married a year ago!
