This is a really cute idea! I often find myself thinking "if I could get married TWICE... this would be my other theme" =)
ReplyDeleteif i don't have a real 'theme' otherwise (except colors)...do you think using JUST something like this would be cute or out of place?
ReplyDeletegiven the state of modern weddingdom, you might be worried that you're setting up expectations of some fantastic postal air-mail theme that your guests will then be disappointed not to have uniformed USPS workers serving them desserts that look like Forever stamps with your faces.
ReplyDeleteI think these are charming and it wouldn't be out of place -- there's usually (unless you're like me) a good bit of time between when you send them out and the actual event. So I don't think anyone will be all, hey, wha... where's the red and blue stripe theme? Just know that whatever you decide is best.
