waisze: repurposed favor boxes

altered altoid tin favor box

am back! whether you're for or against the 'favor' as a concept, check out this great upcycled project -- these are remainders from her own wedding, but perhaps if you prodded wai sze in nyc could make some in your colors as well? you'd have to eat a *lot* of altoids to make your own, i suppose, but then your fiance might appreciate all that mintylicious breath... a beautiful idea!

  1. Thanks for the post! You rock! Believe it or not, there are people who sell empty Altoid Tins on Ebay. We attempted to buy a 12 pack from Costco and soon realized we could never finish all the mints, so ebay it was.. lol!

Oh and yes I do make altoid tins with other papers as well!

  2. cute, I like the idea that the guest has to open the box to get to their favour, makes it a nice, Christmassy surprise for them.
