altered altoid tin favor box
am back! whether you're for or against the 'favor' as a concept, check out this great upcycled project -- these are remainders from her own wedding, but perhaps if you prodded wai sze in nyc could make some in your colors as well? you'd have to eat a *lot* of altoids to make your own, i suppose, but then your fiance might appreciate all that mintylicious breath... a beautiful idea!

Thanks for the post! You rock! Believe it or not, there are people who sell empty Altoid Tins on Ebay. We attempted to buy a 12 pack from Costco and soon realized we could never finish all the mints, so ebay it was.. lol!
ReplyDeleteOh and yes I do make altoid tins with other papers as well!
cute, I like the idea that the guest has to open the box to get to their favour, makes it a nice, Christmassy surprise for them.
ReplyDeleteI like them, but what do you put IN them?
ReplyDeletei put japanese candy in these favors, but anything goes.. paperclips, buttons, a small sewing kit.. etc.
