jennysherbie: soy candles
geranium soy wax candle
ok, how's this for an eco-clever idea? non-toxic soy wax candles, scented with all natural oils, in vintage glassware. once the candle is finished, a little soap and water and the glass can be used for toasting your bad green self.
you could get unscented ones for the dinner tables in an assortment of glasses, *or* jennysherbie also lists a whole armada of candles in reusable jars to be given as favors, complete with a custom-designed decal featuring your wedding particulars.

Soy candles are so great to use and very eco friendly. I recently ran across a great website offering 100% soy candles along with candle accessories and warmers. I purchased a couple of the candles, the 4 oz candles burned for 25+ hours and the 8 oz candle burned for over 50 hours. Wow! No soot and just soap and water clean up. The warmers work wonderfully, they warm the wax from the top instead of the bottom. You get the scent immediately, not like the old ones that you have to melt all the wax before you get any smell. Check them out at wolfdreamsalaska.com.
