love: beirut

off-topic! here's my obsession of the week: this sweet, sad, mournful, joyful, intimate series of single-take videos from beirut:

  1. my good friend's first dance song was Beirut's "postcards from italy." It was one of the highlights from the wedding-- it starts off slow, good for the couple, and then builds up a lot of steam. By the end everyone was on the floor, even the older folks.
